The EDM challenge number 8 was "Draw your watch or other piece of jewellery" I stopped using watches (that thing telling you that you are going to be late on your wrist) when cellphones started to show the time on the display. As for jewellery I only use a gold ring, not exciting enough to draw. So I chose to draw a piece of jewellery that I have been fascinated of since the first time I saw it, the Cameo. I love cameos & cameo glass too. I used to work in a giant antique shop that had hundreds of pieces & I became truly fascinated by them.

Cute sketch. I don't wear a watch anymore either. You are right, the time is on my cell phone if I need to know but I had become hooked on checking it all the time. A cameo is a much better subject!
