This is what I am working on Friday 22 of October, 2010. Or to be more correct what I am trying to work on. There is a little problem with my cat trying to play along. So I started editing a art journal video instead. The journal is from the 09/10 Round Robin arrange on the Milliande ning group. A bit more tweaking and then I need to find some free music to go a long.

Movie Monday#3 Simon's Cat "Hot Spot"
I have a cat, Boris, he does this too, except for ringing the doorbell... His favorite spot in my studio, when not on the middle of the workspace, is the window frame. Another hot spot...

Your comments feed my blog
I have started to enjoy the blogging. I was very unsure starting out, would I find things to share? What should I share? Would I be able to keep it up? Would my English vocabulary keep up? How much time would it consume? I still have a lot of questions like do I share unfinished project? I do a lot of creative work but for the most part I only share sketches/paintings/illustration. Can I find good ways to share other things? How can I include other blogs and bloggers?
I see that when I get feedback on things I share it encourage me and it gives me desire to share and blog more. I would like to say a big thank you to all that gives feed back! Thanks for feeding my blog!
My illustration is dedicated to you! If you look closely on the fish you can see that it is made of words it is "hi" in different kind of languishes.
Medium used: ink, pencil, watercolour pencil, ink pencil, watersoluble wax pastel and permanent marker.

Art journal - June cat.
This is my last trip to school, just one more exam. To come there I have to drive 450 km. On my route there are 16 tunnels. This became my inspiration for this art journal entry. Alto the only animal I meet in the tunnels was sheep's, I decided to go for a cat. I find that cats are always majestic. Even when they comes out from a tube or a tunnel
Medium used: 3B pencil and Derwent watersoluble wax pastel.

IF - instinct
This weeks entry for Illustration Friday is instinct.
Do you have a cat? We do! The most beautify cat in the world! In addition to being a cat that keep me company in my studio he catches mouse, lemmings and spiders. Good boy! But some times he is just a nightmare, this occur every time we are preparing fish. If it is raw or boiled he don't care, just wants the fish now! We boil it before he gets it and if he is inside the house there is a lot of noise. He keep telling us that that fish is his and it is probably enough boiled. If we don't guard the casserole he actually pick/fish the boiling fish out of the casserole! We no longer have aquarium...
No, it is not the cat to blame, but if we had have one I would guess it won't last long, I am sure he would have found a way to got the fish out...
My illo is split in to two.
The bowl should be coped, not sure how yet. The background colours is in real life the same on both these pictures. Still having issues with the varnish, it is supposed to be matt but I think it looks glossy. Need to buy a new brand this one is not working for me, only trouble is the shop that sells art supply's only carrying this one brand...(yes, only one shop here I live, actually it is a book store)
Medium used: pastel and charcoal.
